Sales coaching

Make sales-call coaching specific to what happened

EchoAudit at echoaudit.co helps sales managers and QA leads review recorded conversations against their own standards. Inspect criterion-level findings and available evidence, then use call-specific feedback to prepare a focused coaching conversation.

A strong QA score does not establish a sale, activation or revenue increase.

When an overall score is not enough

A manager needs more than a total or a reminder to build rapport. Which customer need was confirmed? Did the response address the objection raised? Was the next step actually agreed? Define those observable behaviours in your scorecard so the review has a clear starting point. A strong QA score does not establish a sale, activation or revenue increase.

From your scorecard to a coaching conversation

Configure criteria for the call type and stage, then assess recordings you are authorised to use. Review criterion-level scores, available quoted evidence, auditor notes and coaching feedback. Check the relevant recording when a finding is unclear. Choose one behaviour to discuss and review later calls against the same criterion. The coaching conversation and follow-up decisions remain with your team.

Fictional teaching example · not an actual product output

Fictional example: a useful discovery moment

This fictional educational example is not a customer conversation, an actual EchoAudit output or a measured product result. Customer: I work from home and the connection drops during video calls. Agent: It sounds like reliability during work calls is the priority. Customer: Exactly. Agent: I can look at the options and call you tomorrow.

Connect the feedback to the evidence

For the criterion confirm the customer's main need, the example supports met: the agent restates the priority and the customer confirms it. For agree a specific next step, it supports partly met: a callback is proposed, but no time or acceptance appears in the excerpt. A focused coaching action is to keep the clear needs summary and ask for an agreed callback time. Do not infer an agreement that the evidence does not show.

A strong QA score does not establish a sale, activation or revenue increase.

Give incomplete calls the right context

Define when each criterion applies. A call that ends before an offer is discussed should not automatically fail an offer-explanation criterion. Distinguish an unreached stage from an assessable failure or unclear evidence, and check how the configured assessment handles those cases. A short excerpt cannot establish what happened in the full call.

What the feedback can and cannot tell you

Evidence and coaching fields depend on the configured framework and available result. AI findings may be wrong or incomplete and need human review, especially before consequential decisions. Coaching notes are not proof that skills or sales results improved. This workflow does not replace manager judgement or verify commercial outcomes.

Start with a behaviour you want to review

Bring an existing rubric or describe the discovery, objection-handling or next-step behaviour your team wants to assess. Use the example scorecard and calibration guide to decide what evidence would support a finding. For product enquiries, tell us the call types and coaching problem you want to explore.
